Stranger Things Creators Confirm the Hit Show Will Have a Third, Possibly Fourth Season

On October 27th, we’re going to return to the town of Hawkins, IN for the second season of Netflix’s “Stranger Things”, the supernatural mystery series that captivated audiences last year and became a cultural phenomenon. Because of that reaction, it seems that the powers that be over at Netflix and the Duffer Brothers, Matt and Ross, who created the show, aren’t going to sit idly by with just two seasons. In fact, in an interview with Vulture, Ross not only confirmed a third season but stated, “We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out.” Matt added, “I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year,” with Ross joking adding, “They’re going to have to get the fuck out of this town! It’s ridiculous!

“Stranger Things” Season 2 stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, Sadie Sink as Max, Sean Astin as Bob Newby, and Paul Reiser as Dr. Owens.

About “Stranger Things” Season 2:
It’s 1984, and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana, are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down; but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
